Another DADGAD piece. I came up with the initial idea for this when I returned home from a long holiday, then finally finished the track after getting back from another holiday over a year later...

A simple idea that turned elaborate... I had my evil twin come in and he was unexpectedly kind enough to lay down some guitar fills and octave stuff, he also sang and wrote the corny lyrics ;)

The song is in Eb (E flat) so one guitar is in standard tuning, "C-shape" + capo 3rd fret, and the other is in open D tuning, capo 1st fret.
I´m sorry it´s been awhile since I uploaded something new, a lot of non-guitar related issues put the guitar picking on hold...

The Rose (yet again!) on a hand crafted Loef guitar

A while back I tried this great Loef guitar - built with the finest of woods, Adirondack and East Indian Rosewood. Her name is "Addi".
The previous video I did of Amanda McBroom´s The Rose was played on a "cheap" Alvarez. Check it out to compare the difference in sound. The recording setting is exactly the same. Only difference I use a thumbpick on this take, for some reason... Why Martin, why?

I found an open tuning (low to high: E A C# E A E) that I liked so I wrote this semi-instrumental. I also got the chance to use some flamenco guitar techniques. Capo 1st fret (equals key of B flat). Hope you like it!
