Immigration Reform March to ICE Headquarters

On January 21, 2009, demonstrators marched to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency headquarters in Washington, D.C. Religious and spiritual leaders performed a cleansing of the building to rid it of eight years of Bush administration policy activists had disagreed with. This video was shot for Diverse: Issues in Education, and was published on its Web site.

Firehouse Bingo

Every Friday and Sunday, the Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department hosts a bingo game to raise funds for the firehouse. Some of the participants, like Pauline Bordas, have ties to the department that go back decades. She views her participation in the game as one of the ways she contributes to the department.
