The Wolf's Rain ending song with a running wolf! the song is called Gravity by Yoko Kanno. been a long road to follow been there and gone tomorrow without saying goodbye to yesterday are the memories I hold still valid? or have the tears deluded them? maybe this time tomorrow the rain will cease to follow and the mist will fade into one more today something somewhere out there keeps calling am I going home? will I hear someone singing solace to the silent moon? zero gravity what's it like? am I alone? is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet still the road keeps on telling me to go on something is pulling me I feel the gravity of it all I DO NOT OWN THIS MEDIA.

Native American Chants & Music - by Phil Thornton

Native American Chants - by Phil Thornton-download at iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=253632033&s=143441 The history of The Native American Indians is tied to their spirituality which has a central belief that every single element, being or thing possesses a spirit: whether it is the sky or the earth's core. They believed that there are those whom hold extra special knowledge and powers - know as Shaman. Shaman is a Siberian word meaning 'healer and magician'. The majority of Native American Indians believe that there are three worlds: the Lower World representing such things as landscape, The Middle World where we live in the present, and the Upper World above us in the angelic realms. Shaman are able to travel between these worlds while in a trance and it is these worlds that they meet spirits, learn lessons and find answers to questions. The Native Americans Indians are said to possess the wisdom and knowledge of the generations that stretch back thousands of years, with a sacred belief in the need to appreciate and be thankful for all that life provides. Indian Prayer
uploaded by LaHelen4real at youtube.com
Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength, not to be superior to my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy - myself. Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit will come to you without shame. --Chief Yellow Lark, Lakota Tribe

***Native Americans*** Peoples who occupied North America before the arrival of the Europeans in the 15th cent. They have long been known as Indians because of the belief prevalent at the time of Columbus that the Americas were the outer reaches of the Indies (i.e., the East Indies). Most scholars agree that Native Americans came into the Western Hemisphere from Asia via the Bering Strait in a series of migrations. From Alaska they spread east and south. The several waves of migration are said to account for the many native linguistic families while the common origin is used to explain the physical characteristics that Native Americans have in common (though with considerable variation)Mongoloid features, coarse, straight black hair, dark eyes, sparse body hair, and a skin color ranging from yellow-brown to reddish brown. Many scholars accept evidence of Native American existence in the Americas back more than 25,000 years. In pre-Columbian times (prior to 1492) the Native American population of the area N of Mexico is estimated to have been between one and two million. From prehistoric times until recent historic times there were roughly six major cultural areas, excluding that of the Arctic, i.e., Northwest Coast, Plains, Plateau, Eastern Woodlands, Northern, and Southwest. http://www.forumart.net/forum/kizilderililer-amerika-kitasinin-ilk-yerlileri-native-americans-t1630.html

Charley Pride--Kaw-Liga
uploaded by 7246a at youtube.com
Charley Pride-Kaw-Liga Kaw-Liga, was the wooden Indian standin' by the door He fell in love with the Indian maiden over in the antique store Kaw-Liga, he just stood there and he never let it show 'Cause he could never answer yes or no, no, no, no. Poor ol' Kaw-Liga well he never got a kiss Poor ol' Kaw-Liga he don't know what he missed Is it any wonder that his face is red Kaw-Liga that poor ol' wooden head. He always wore his Sunday feather and held a tomahawk The maiden wore her beads and braids and hope someday he'd talk. Kaw-Liga, well, he stood there and he never showed a sign Because his heart was made of knotty pine, pine, pine. Poor ol' Kaw-Liga well never got a kiss Poor ol' Kaw-Liga he don't know what he missed Is it any wonder that his face is red Kaw-Liga that poor ol' wooden head. And then one day a wealthy customer bought the Indian maid He took her, oh, so far away but ol' Kaw-Liga stayed. Kaw-Liga, well he stood there and never let it show 'Cause he could never answer yes or no, no, no, no. Poor ol' Kaw-Liga well he never got a kiss Poor ol' Kaw-Liga he don't know what he missed Is it any wonder that his face is red Kaw-Liga that poor ol' wooden head.
