Summit Lake is a beautiful destination for anyone hiking in the Mt. Rainier area. We took the hike up after "off roading" my Honda Civic for a few miles. After hiking, we ate lunch, and then did the lake loop that provides a 360 degree view of the lake, Mt Rainier, Seattle (on a very clear day) and other places.
