This is a very rare video from the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre (GCTC), located in Star City. In former Soviet times, this centre was like a city in "stealth mode", nobody from the western parts of the world knowledged this training centre. The movie is showing the work of the center since the beginning, up to 2002. Its in Russian original language, sorry for not translating it, but the video has its own language. :)

The Futujara is our experimental instrument which was made in collaboration with
Max Brumberg.
It have unique possibility to connect 4 different tubes in 4 keys: C,D, A and G, and if you disconnect all playing tubes you get overtone flute in A. But futujara is not only multi-key set of fujara, it also gives you amazing possibility to play in totally different way! The hose attached to futujara makes it really maneuverable and you can use technique which is used in playing on kalyuka, russian overtone flute (see the video for details).

Ghost Catcher (stringed) traditional instrument of Kuzhebar people (Siberia). It is kind of mouth bow, but unlike other mouth bows it have little fingerboard and 2 strings, so its possible to play melodies on it, pressing the strings to the fingerboard. Instrument should be placed in front of the mouth and modulated like a jaw harp. I use improved version of ghost catcher which I modified myself.
