Earthquake of 2010, St. Marc's situation
uploaded by snowguy013 at youtube.com
A dramatic presentation of the hectic first week of the P-au-P earthquake, and how it is affecting Saint Marc. We also see what YWAM is doing and ways YOU can help.
YWAM Haiti was planted in St. Marc in 1991, and works there to give not only physical humanitarian aid, but spiritual foundations so that one day it can become a blessing to the world. YWAM requires it's staff to raise it's own support through friends and family, so that people who give money to YWAM for particular causes can be assured that there money reaches its destination rather than the hands of hired employees.

Haiti Earthquake situation Wednesday update
uploaded by snowguy013 at youtube.com
An update by Kristian Snow of what YWAM is doing to help the victims of the earthquake.
YWAM is now responsible for all identification, allowing a certain amount of victims to be able to recieve assistance in housing, food and other things by showing their card to the suppliers. YWAM is also coordinating private organizations and churches to help Port-au-Prince victims. A program is getting set up that you can support by going to www.ywamhaiti.org where refugees can get food and housing for $2 US per day.
A team from Tyler, Texas has arrived in Port-au-Prince and is doing rescue work. They have been saving lives and have some remarkable stories to tell in the future. We've heard that amputations are taking place there with NO anesthesia and many are still out in the streets with nobody to take them to a clinic.

Haiti Earthquake of 2010 YWAM Thursday Update
uploaded by snowguy013 at youtube.com
An update by Kristian Snow of what YWAM is doing to help the victims of the earthquake. When boatloads of food arrive in the St. Marc Port, how will it be distributed? Who can make sure that the city feeds refugees living amongst the greedy people who want the food for themselves? ID cards have been the solution for years now, and even today we can go on our database and find old flood victims ID cards to verify there stories. Look-outs who are familiar with the St. Marc residents are working along side us to pull out anyone they know is not a refugee. When the food distribution begins, we hope it will be an effective system, as it has been in the past.
