This is a travel video I put together of our journey to Egypt in May of 2007. Shot entirely with an HV20 and "the pod" support system. The music is by Thievery Corporation and is titled, "Facing East." I was listening to the music on the trip and it seemed to fit the spirit and mood of Egypt.
Egypt is a beautiful country with many diverse people and awe inspiring sites. I hope the video gives the viewer a sense of what it's like.

This is the second video from my trip to Egypt last year. Shot with an HV20 and only using "the pod" for camera support. I brought home nearly 9 hours of footage and wanted to create a video that documented all the major sites we visited where cameras were allowed.

I like many of the images and have led groups to Egypt. I know what I am seeing but without some way to tell the viewer what they are seeing and where the place in Egypt is how will they learn from your beautiful camera work. I know the idea of doing this over is daunting! Please try to do that for the world to understand ancient Egypt. ahaafoundation.org will give your viewers some information if they choose to take a look. Slow down and tell your story with the music in the background.
