snapping up nominations for both Irelands
Choice Music Prize and XFMs Album of the year. The nominations are massive news for the band and
label alike and is a great follow up to the bands 2009, which saw them play 170 shows and headline the
Ulster Hall in December.

gigs all over Europe. From extensive tours in the UK to opening Pukkelpop festival in Belgium in front of

With high praise from peers, big name endorsements and ascension on festival bills, Holy Fuck have the divine right to be profane. With elder music luminaries Thom Yorke and Lou Reed passing on kind words about studio recordings and live performances, its no wonder Holy Fuck have become sought after. The last couple years have seen them on the road with acts like M.I.A., Wolf Parade, Clinic, !!!, Mouse on Mars, Cornelius, and Super Furry Animals. Holy Fuck have been invited to play some of the best festivals like Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, Roskilde, Coachella, All Tomorrows Parties, as well as the Montreal Jazz. Holy Fuck was even hailed by NME as one of the top three bands to appear on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury. If you need more name dropping at this point, Im afraid there is little hope for you.

Fools Gold is a Los Angeles collective that weaves together western pop aesthetics with African rhythms and melodies. The group started as a side project of two young LA musicians, vocalist/bassist Luke Top and lead guitarist Lewis Pesacov, who set out to explore their shared love of various forms of African music (specifically Congolese, Ethiopean, Eritrean and Malian), Krautrock, and 80s dance influenced pop music. They quickly wrote a few inspired songs and asked friends, friends of friends and even strangers to join them on stage.

Dan Snaith is an interesting specimen in the world of music. He produced first his album "Start Breaking My Heart", back in 2001 under the moniker Manitoba, winning praise for his innovative use of melody and clever rhythms. Several years later and things have moved on for the tenacious Dr. Snaith: an absurd lawsuit from one Richard 'Handsome Dick' Manitoba forced him to change his name to Caribou, he's been touring like a demon, and he's taken up swimming in a big way (hence the title of his brilliant 2010 long player "Swim"). His music has matured with his experiences too. The focus has shifted from looping tracks to carefully balancing harmonies, and he has strived to give his creations a more organic, almost liquid feel.

Vince recently traveled to Hackney to helm the latest for Swedish superstars, Miike Snow. This video features Scottish actor, Jeffrey Stewart, best known for playing Reg Hollis in the British TV drama, "The Bill". An interesting fellow with an interesting story, glad to be apart of the comeback. The video was shot by the Matthias Koenigswieser, produced by Scott Clark @ Bikini.
