COREXIT LEAVES DEAD FISH ON BEACHES IN GULFPORT MISSISSIPPI 7-19-2010

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Something besides oil washed ashore along a section of beach in Gulfport. Construction workers at Jones Park called WLOX Monday morning with news about Corexit killing fish.
You could smell the problem before seeing it. Dead menhaden, or pogeys, washed ashore along the beach.
The large fish kill created quite a mess. Piles of the small, silvery fish cover much of the shoreline just east of Jones Park from 15th Avenue to Moses Pier.
While many laid baking in the late morning sun, others were pushed ashore by the gentle surf.
It might make sense to blame the oil spill for the fish kill or at least consider oil or dispersants such as Corexit in the water for the death of these pogeys. But Harrison County's sand beach director, thinks it Corexit or Methane.
"COLD WATER" KILLS MILLIONS OF FISH AND ALLIGATORS IN BOLIVIA 8-7-2010

"REAL MONEY" T-SHIRTS @ http://executees.net/mens.html
Here's why this happened: http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/01/23/bolivia.nationalization/index.html
Over 1 million fish and thousands of alligators, turtles, dolphins and other river wildlife are floating dead in numerous Bolivian rivers in the three eastern/southern departments of Santa Cruz, Beni and Tarija. The extreme COLD WATER that hit Bolivia in mid-July caused water quality to dip below the minimum standards river life can tolerate. As a consequence, rivers, lakes, lagoons and fisheries are brimming with decomposing fish and other creatures.
Unprecedented: Nothing like this has ever been seen in this magnitude in Bolivia. Inhabitants of riverside communities report the smell is nauseating and can be detected as far as a kilometer away from river banks. River communities, whose livelihoods depend on fishing, fear they'll run out of food and will have nothing to sell. Authorities are concerned there will be a shortage of fish in markets and are more concerned by possible threats to public health, especially in communities that also use river water for bathing and drinking, but also fear contaminated or decaying fish may end up in market stalls. They've begun a campaign to ensure market vendors and the public know how to tell the difference between fresh and unhealthy fish.
COREXIT KILLING FISH IN MASSACHUSETTS! DON'T EAT THE FISH! 8-10-2010

State marine biologists said COREXIT AND METHANE which causes an apparent lack of oxygen killed thousands of fish that were washing up on shore in Fairhaven Monday.
The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries was investigating and the scientists determined that the fish were killed by METHANE AND COREXIT which results in "a lack of dissolved oxygen in the estuary," from which they came.
"It's really creepy. It's a small island," said Eric Borgeson, a father of four who's been vacation there his entire life.
"The whole beach is coated. It's nasty," he said.
Borgeson said there were no fish anywhere on Sunday, but he awoke at 4:30 a.m. Monday and "noticed the smell," first thing.
He said he's worried about what's causing the fish to die in the waters where his children normally swim and play.
Borgeson said the only thing he's ever seen there that was worse was when an oil tanker spilled in Buzzard's Bay several years ago.
