When a flight chartered by the Church of Scientology leaves Los Angeles for Port-au-Prince on January 21, Haitian Jude Falaise and her 16-year-old son will be on board. Falaise lost 11 family members-brothers, sisters and cousins-in the 7.0 earthquake January 12 and says she wants to help those who did survive.

The second charter flight this week sponsored by the Church of Scientology arrived in Haiti today with doctors, medical supplies, Volunteer Ministers and other relief workers for the stricken country.
The 168-seat aircraft departed from Los Angeles Thursday afternoon with medical personnel, specialists in water filtration and sanitation systems, telecommunications experts, emergency medical technicians and representatives from three international adoption agencies.
In Miami, more than 100 doctors, nurses and other health care professionals from the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad (Association des Médecins Haïtiens a lEtranger) joined the West Coast group before continuing to Port-au-Prince.

Over 130 doctors and medical personnel and Scientology Volunteer Ministers landed in Haiti on 17 January 2010 to help the Haitian population after a severe earth quake on 12 January 2010 had left their home in rubbles. The flight was organized and funded by the Church of Scientology and also brought over 5 tons of medical supplies and very much needed water and food.
