This is week 2 and basically lesson #2 in my novice level training. I am not showing you the methods of how we train, rather we are showing you what can be accomplished in a very short period of training with Beyond The Leash k9 training. In this lesson I have taught Dexter the "heel". Heeling is walking nicely at your left side without pulling on the leash, lagging behind, or sniffing the ground. This is video number 3. I am going through my pups novice obedience training in "real time" ...not showing how we train...rather showing what we have accomplished in a short amount of time. This is the 'sit stay' after only 8 days and just over 3 weeks of total training.

This is week #4 of me training my puppy Dexter. I am basically taking him through my 9 week obedience course...however I am fast-tracking him through commands to show you how fast it can be done. I am skipping certain lessons that require a second handler (sit and stand for examination) and this week I introduce 3 new commands to Dex (down. down/stay, and come). This is something I would not suggest my clients do...because certain time is needed to polish commands before you move on...but I am a trainer and Dexter is a fast learner so this is ok.

This is Vegas, a cute little girl who has made great progress. Here she does an sit/stay where her owner leaves the room. Eric (her trainer) tries to distract her to no avail as she will not break the stay. For a novice level dog this is very impressive.
