Many people woke up to find everything was red. Our cars, the ground, everything. NSW & QLD have been blanketed in a red dust. This footage is from my backyard.

Sydney turns blood red! This morning when we woke it was completely red out the window. Like fog but red - so strange! According to the news this is widespread, from the mountain range out to sea. The airport is closed, the ferrys have stopped, the traffic on the motorways is jammed up. Crazy!

Winds picked up early this morning before the sun rose. 115km winds have been recorded nearby.
Dust is thick it's coming through the window seals cause it's so fine.
Now the rain has started with some hail, the dust becomes like a cement and needs to be washed off cars before it hardens!
This video was taken at 2:05pm local time.
